Nephrite Doom - Mogdread

Mogdread is the lord of flames and loves lava!

Burns Everything!

Mogdread is all about burning everything in his path! He has a lot of explosive abilities and makes heavy use of an Immolation burning debuff.

Ammo

Primary Ammo: Mogdread uses 3 types of primary ammo, Firestone Charges, Lava Charges and Light Charges. These can be picked up and will spawn on top of vanilla (Doom/Heretic/Hexen/Strife) ammo.

Special Ammo: Mogdread also uses special Infernal Charges, these are created by the crying screams of his burning immolated enemies! All special attacks cost Infernal Charges along with a tiny amount of primary ammo used by the weapon.

Special Ability: Fire Lord

Mogdread is completely immune to fire damage including terrain damage dealt by lava, slime, nuclear waste, etc. He takes reduced damage from enemies such as Archviles or Afrits which deal about half of their damage as fire damage.

Debuff: Immolation

Any enemies that take damage from an Immolate debuff applied by Mogdread will give Mogdread Infernal Charges.

Weapon: Firestone Cane

Initially a fine cane for a fine lord, Mogdread adorned this cane with a powerful Firestone Gem which can store up to several suns worth of heat! This is a great close range weapon that sets enemies ablaze, it also has some abilities extending its range.

Primary Attack: Flamethrower

Fires a gout of flames immolating all enemies. This attack is free.

Secondary Attack: Firestorm

Mogdread slams the cane into the ground, drastically lowering his movement speed but letting loose intense flames from all directions immolating all enemies caught in the flames. Costs Firestone Charges.

Special Attack 1: Inferno Sprial

Fires a spiral burst of powerful flames. The spiral is quite large but has long range making it an ideal wide area crowd clearer but not entirely accurate and limited in small areas. Costs Firestone Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 2: Flame Combustion

Releases an explosive shockwave that causes all Immolated enemies to explode! A very powerful crowd clearer. Costs Firestone Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 3: Ignition

Mogdread sets himself on fire immolating himself! Being immune he to fire he takes no damage but will damage nearby enemies and can be combined with other abilities such as Flame Combustion! Costs Firestone Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 4: Call Mog Dalek

Mogdread has managed to find a cybernetic organism known as a Dalek and heavily modified it with fire based abilities, he calls it Fluffy! On a whim Mogdread can teleport this creature in where it will happily begin to burn everything around it immolating enemies.

General Use

A powerful short range starting weapon, the Flamethrower primary attack has a very wide spread and will quickly set enemies on fire. Firestorm is good when surrounded as it deals more damage than Flamethrower, the draw back is that it heavily restricts movement. Inferno Spiral is great for dealing with groups of enemies, it can be a bit limited in really small corridors however and it does offer a good bit of range but isn't perfect for long distance combat. Flame Combustion take advantage of immolation, ideally you can set many enemies ablaze with other abilities and then detonate them with this one. Ignition is good for close up combat and for exploring dense areas as it will instantly ignite enemies that may jump out. Call Mog Dalek is a powerful ability for longer fights where the Dalek offers a lot of support and pretty much immolates everything in the area, great when combined with combustion.

Weapon: Lava Cannon

A custom weapon designed by Mogdread himself to use a special type of lava as projectiles. A powerful mid range explosive weapon that does not harm its user or allies.

Primary Attack: Lava Shot

Launches a ball of lava that lets off a small explosion and then creates a tempoary flame. Immolates all enemies hit. Costs Lava Charges.

Secondary Attack: Lava Wall

Fires a row of lava balls creating a wall of fire. Costs Lava Charges.

Special Attack 1: Overheat

Overloads the cannon before unleashing a giant oversized ball of lava that rapidly explodes as it travels slowy immoalting all enemies caught in its wake. Costs Lava Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 2: Eruption

Fires the cannon into the air release several balls of lava that rain down around the user. Costs Lava Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 3: Volcano

Fires a device that activates on impact where it begins to erupt balls of lava all around it for a short period of time. Costs Lava Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 4: Molten Mine

Fires a deadly proximity mine that will grow over time and will detonate when an enemy gets within range. On detonation it immolates all targets and gives off a massive explosion relative to its size. After a long amount of time, they will explode on their own. Costs Lava Charges and Infernal Charges.

General Use

This is a powerful mid range weapon as well as crowd clearer due to the high amount of splash damage. The main attack is a simple but effective explosive, the fire left on the ground can also finish off weaker enemies and spread immolation. The Lava Wall is great for oncoming hordes. Overheat is a powerful big shot, great for tough enemies as well as for mowing through weaker enemies. Eruption is good for when enemies are too close in small spaces and good for when Mogdread is surrounded in larger spaces too. Volcano is great for larger areas too, it's also fun to fire down into a pit of enemies as well as for blocking up choke points. Molten Mine is a special trap, it is not recommended to launch straight at enemies as it needs time to grow and become more dangerous, it's great as a safety measure for retreating as they have a long duration before they expire.

Weapon: Alchemical Raygun

A masterpiece of a weapon created by Mogdread using advanced alchemy: the engenius combination of magic and science. This Raygun channels concentrated light energy that can obliterate enemies with intense radiation fueled using Mogdread's special Light Charges.

Primary Attack: Light Ray

Fires an intense beam of light that cuts through and immolates everything hit. Costs Light Charges.

Secondary Attack: Cluster Flares

Rapidly fires high speed and accurate flares, igniting enemies on impact and bursting out into a ring of weaker flares that also ignite on impact. Costs Light Charges.

Special Attack 1: Reaction Cluster

Fires a large flare that deals moderate damage and ignites on enemy impact where it then releases a ring of more Reaction Clusters, these can continue infinitely so long as there are more enemies to hit! Costs Light Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 2: Injection Ray

Fires an empowered ray that injects enemies on impact with an explosive, after a few seconds they will explode! Costs Light Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 3: Laser Clamp

Fires a device that attaches to a wall or enemy on impact. Once attached this device fires out a Light Ray from its facing position. Costs Light Charges and Infernal Charges.

Special Attack 4: Obliteration Shot

Charges up and unleashes an incredibly powerful and ultrawide shot that deals high damage as well as immolating targets that were able to to survive the blast. This is followed by several blasts of powerful light from the sky. Costs Light Charges and Infernal Charges.

General Use

This is Mogdreads long range weapon, like the others it makes use of immolation. The primary Light Ray attack is a rail attack with instant and infinite range making it very good for sniping as well as hitting lines of enemies, the immolation that is applied can then become very useful and deals good damage over time. The Cluster Flares are perfect for hitting enemies on the back line, such as on ledges as well as for around corners due to how they burst into more projectiles. The Reaction Cluster takes the Cluster Flare to the next level where if any of the clusters hit an enemies another set of clusters are released, they can be endless so long as there are more enemies to hit. The Combustion Ray is best used against groups of enemies as they will all suffer from the splash damage of each other, fast moving enemies caught in the ray also have a chance of moving to targets that were not hit and damaging them also. The Laser Clamp has a good range of uses not just for long range but for setting up defenses along corridors, etc. Finally the Obliteration Shot is an all powerful BFG-grade blast, it is expensive for effective when all or most targets are caught in the blast.
