Nephrite Doom: Worlds

Space

Space is what is inside of a Universe filled with Galaxies, Solar Systems, Planets, Moons and more. Planets are large bodies that usually orbit a star within a Solar System while Moons orbit them, each character has a home planet, some with access to other planets and more.

Universes and Branches

A Universe is a single reality with a single timeline, refered to as spacetime. Time cannot be altered as everything that did happen always did, however new braches of alternative realities known as Branched Universes can occur in theory if one was to go back in time and create things they would instead just create a new number of branches. Spacetime within a Universe is endless, though there is an origin. A lot of characters are from alternate branched Universes to each other where at some point in the unknown past, their timelines branched apart from each other.

Parallel Universes

A set of branched Universes can be considered part of a Universe Tree sharing the same root, however Parallel Universes are completely different being from a whole new tree or something else entirely. Parallel Universes can work entirely different from each other, in Hell for example, time itself works in a different way and the Branched Universes of Hell constantly mix in and out of eachother creating a chaotic world. There are an infinite amount of Parallel Universes that exist within the Multiverse.

Pocket Universes

Pocket Universes are small limited Universes that are usually bound within a parent Universe, the way they work is usually the same as the Parent Universe but they can vary a bit. Pocket Universes can also be moved to other Universes or cast out into the Void. Over time a Pocket Universe is capable of developing into a fully fledged Parallel Universe and is a possible origin for the many Parallel Universes that exist.

Multiverse

The Multiverse is a term that means, absolutely everything. There is only one Multiverse as it is everything, another Multiverse would mean another everything which makes no sense and would just be a bigger Multiverse.

The Void

The Void is nothingness or empty space. The Void isn't a place that can be visited as it isn't really a thing, this is just what nothingness is called, to be lost in the void would likely mean being in a small bubble of reality (aka a Pocket Universe) drifting through nothingness. The Void Element of Magic isn't nothingness itself, but more the pull of nothingness, powerful Void magic is able to consume reality to a point of no return.

Planet Earth

In this Universe, Earth was overcome by a powerful cult during World War I that used magic to call forth the Elder God of Undeath. Before the war it was a planet with a thriving magical society combined with industrial advances. It had several large portals constructed that allowed humans to travel across space to the planet Parthas which was descovered when the large magical energy waves it emits finally reached Earth. However as society on Parthas advanced, it crumbled on Earth leading to the First World War, which was cut short by a powerful cult. Now, centuries have passed and Earth has slipped into distant history and even myth or is completely forgotten by newer societies. Chozo grew up in the desolate Earth becoming a powerful Necromancer in order to survive and join the doomed fight against the Elder God.

Planet Vaultar

Lycanite's home planet, Vaultar has fairly evenly divided land masses creating several large continents, each labeled as a single country. However there is a great divide between each country and it is rare for people to travel over seas. Lycanite grew up in Reteric, a diverse country that is unfortunately ruled by a false democracy where huge parts of history are hidden from the public. Only Lycanite has been known to establish a secret portal from Vaultar to Parthas, but in the past, many portals were common.

Planet Parthas

A vast planet with a strange magical power eminating from its core, society is united across the planet as a whole and the development of magic and science is celebrated. Parthas has a large network of portals across the planet connecting countries and the planets Hex and Boloth. Humans along with many animals brought over from Earth have heavily inhabited this planet and all portals leading back to Earth were destroyed centuries ago. Lycanite's main headquarters is situated on this planet.

Planet Hex

A strange eyeball planet that is tidally locked to the sun. The center of the light hemisphere has a large scorching hot desert stuck in eternal daytime summer, moving further away from the center the land begins to cool allowing for a more temperate climate with an endless sunset or sunrise, the life is diverse and strange. On the dark hemisphere lies a frozen wasteland trapped in eternal night. Humanoid society is well establish on this planet, but many find it too strange.

Planet Boloth

Covered in mostly deserts and endless swamps with little actual ocean, Boloth is another strange planet and society has become divided and not as well established, though the richer societies have access to portals leading to Parthas and Hex. For a long time Lycanite became a God Pharaoh to a major nation which he helped grow before becoming lost in Hell.

Planet Earth

In this Universe, Earth was very different, unrecognisable as the same planet, this is due to this Universe being branched from a point far away from the likes of the Verdant or Crimson Universes. Sadly Earth along with everything else in this Universe has collapsed in on itself into nothingness.

Planet Earth

In this Universe, Earth is incredibly advanced technologically, sadly it is massively overrun with demonic hordes.

Planet Mars

Life on Mars, Deimos and Phobos is well established, again however, demonic hordes have overtaken nearly all territories.

Planet Saturn

While the gassy giant is uninhabitable even by demons, a lot of human bases remain mostly untouched by demons on Saturn's various Moons, however Titan is under heavy assault.

Erebus

A vast plane of Hell covered in fire and brimstone that is overrun with vicious demonic creatures. Demons have evolved to be overly aggressive due to the nature of this world as due to how time works differently a demon can usually escape death by suddenly being alive again.

Underworld

A darker and colder place in Hell, the Underworld ranges from pits of nether fire to dark icy plains. The demons here are deadly and usually take advantage of the dark places to stalk their victims.

Purgatory

A large seemingly endless mass of flesh is constantly growing across Hell like a tumor. It is speculated that it is the result of the timelessness of Hell where creatures don't always come back right after death and instead become part of the flesh. Intelligent demons have established territory in this plane using advanced technology to support themselves and manipulate the flesh.
